Who was Tanner Cook?
According to the reports, the sufferer was critically wounded inside Dulles Town Center Mall. He is admitted to the hospital where he is getting treatment. According to the police, the 21-year-old Youtuber was recording the prank video for his Youtube channel when he was shot. The Youtuber is identified as Tanner Cook who is currently in the Intensive Care Unit until the next day. The reports state that the bullet pierced through his liver and stomach. His fans are quite worried for him and want to know more details about this shooting.

The office of the Loudoun County Sheriff did not publicly identify the victim but the documents submitted in the court and a Loudoun County General District judge discovered him at the time of the arraignment for the suspect who is identified as 31-year-old, Alan Colie who hails from Leesburg. The suspect was detained on Sunday, 2nd April 2023, and currently facing the charges of aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a weapon within the building.

The homicide investigator, Mike Chapman states that the shooting happened after the altercation broke out in the food court between both men. People got panic after hearing the bullet sound and started running here and there. According to the reports, the video which is now gone viral on social media is first posted on Instagram by the user @thisismyu5ername. The video captured the moment of the suspect being detained on the ground. As the probe is ongoing, Cook talks to the journalist from his medical institution after undergoing surgery. Cook who is a famous content creator for the Youtube channel named “Classified Goons” stated he was playing jokes with the suspect for his other video.

The Youtuber states, “I was playing a prank and a simple practical joke, and this person did not take things very well.” The friend of Taner Cook was recording the video when the suspect took out his gun. The family of the victim states that the footage is now working as proof against the suspect.
