Farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 13th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (Pradhan Mantri Kishan). Under this scheme, the central government gives Rs 6000 to the farmers annually. The special thing is that every four months the government pays tax in installments of Rs.2000-2000 and transfers this amount to the farmers’ accounts.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 17 released the 12th installment amount for eligible farmer families. Prime Minister Modi has spent 16000 crore rupees for this. About 8 crore farmers of the country have benefited from this. But now you have to do e-KYC to avail this scheme.
According to the DBT Krishi Vihar website, “Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it is mandatory for the beneficiaries to do e-KYC, otherwise they will be denied the benefits of the scheme. The special thing is that the farmers should be the first to update the e-KYC. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana should visit the website and farmers Click on E-KYC link at Farmers Corner.
After that there will be an option to fill Aadhaar number. A captcha code will also appear, which you need to enter. After that click on search button and enter your registered mobile number. After giving the mobile number you will get an OTP. Enter the OTP and click on submit for approval.
Then, click on ‘Submit for Authorization’. If your details match with Aadhaar then your PM Kishan e-KYC is successful. If the farmer wants, he can also complete the online e-KYC by visiting the nearest CSC or Vasudha Kendra. Here a fee of Rs 15 has to be paid for e-KYC through biometric system.
