This time 32 teams are participating in FIFA World 2022. These 32 teams are divided into eight groups of four teams each. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the next round.

In addition to the host Qatar, there are Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands in the group. The first match of this group will be played right after the opening ceremony i.e. Sunday 20 November from 9.30 pm.

The first match of the second group will be between England and Iran. Under the leadership of Harry Kane, England is considered as a big rival this time.

Lionel Messi-led Argentina are in Group C alongside Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland. The first match of this group will be between Argentina and Saudi Arabia on November 22.

France are the current champions in Group D. Besides this group includes Australia, Denmark and Tunisia. The first match of the group will be between Denmark and Tunisia on November 22.

Spain, Costa Rica, Germany and Japan are placed in Group E. On November 23, teams from Germany and Japan will enter the Khalifa International Stadium in what will be the first match of the group.

Group F is one of the strongest groups in this World Cup. This group includes Belgium, Canada, Morocco and last year’s runners-up Croatia.

Brazil, who won the most World Cups, won the group this time. The first match of its group will be played between Switzerland and Cameroon on November 24.

Cristiano Ronaldo-led Portugal have been drawn in Group H alongside Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea. The first match of this group will be between Uruguay and South Korea on November 24.
