He died on 6th April 2023, Thursday in the early morning. As per the report, he was under the treatment in the Chennai hospital. Last month during the state budget discussion meeting. He fell ill in the middle of the meeting and after that, he got airlifted to Chennai from Giridih. Sources say that he had a lung transplant during the time of COVID-19 in 2020. he was supported by many Jharkhand people. The public of Jharkhand used to love him a lot.
