Congress and AAP are demanding independents
Congress MP Dipender Hooda said BJP got 5% votes, INLD and AAP 3%, BS 29%. Dipendra said the BJP JJP, which won 22 councilors out of 411, has no right to be in power. He said that 28 independent Zilla Parishad members have approached AAP, who will soon join them.
INLD leader and Allenabad MLA Abhay Chautala’s son Karan Chautala won from Ward No. 6 of Sirsa Zilla Parishad by 600 votes. An INLD leader said the party won 14 of the 72 seats contested on the party symbol in the Zilla Parishad elections.

Panchayati Raj members will take oath on December 3
The swearing-in ceremony of all elected Panchayati Raj members will be held on December 3. The administration has started preparations for the swearing-in ceremony at 11 am.
