Former IPL cricketer released from jail, bailed on rape charges, suspended for 3 months

The former Nepal captain was arrested in October after a minor accused him of raping him at a hotel.

According to the news agency, the Patan High Court has ordered the release of Lamichhane, who has been in custody since October on charges of raping a minor girl, on a bail of Tk 20 lakh.  However, Lamichhan has been banned from leaving the country until the final court order.  (PTI)
