Ahead of IPL 2024 Auction, everyone is focusing on World Cup 2023 and Asia Cup. The final date and venue of the IPL 2024 Auction will be announced after World Cup 2023. The expected venues for IPL 2024 Auction are Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Kolkata, and Jaipur. Kindly note that, unlike the previous auctions, this year there is no limit to retaining the players. An official of BCCI said, “The focus is now on World Cup and once every detail is taken care of, we will move towards IPL. We will decide the date after the World Cup. It is most likely in the third or fourth week of December. But it will only be discussed at the IPL GC meeting later on.” IPL 2024 Auction is likely to happen in the last month of this year.
