Indian politician V. Senthil Balaji is the state of Tamil Nadu’s minister of electricity, prohibition, and excise. On October 21, 1975, in Rameswarapatti in the Karur district, V Senthil Balaji was born. He has a background in agriculture. He has graduated from the Rameswarapatti Government School, Vivekananda School in Pasupathypalayam, and Municipal Higher Secondary School in Karur. At the age of 21, he entered politics, and he has been involved since the early 2000s. He started serving the public as a local body member in 1997. From 2011 to 2015, he served as the Tamil Nadu government’s minister of transportation. In July 2015, he was removed from the cabinet.
He was previously elected to the same Karur electorate in the 2006 general election as a member of the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. In 2016, he won a seat in the Aravakurichi constituency as an MLA. He was crucial in keeping the government together after Jayalalithaa’s passing. He supported T. T. V. Dhinakaran during the division of the AIADMK into factions. On September 18, 2017, Speaker P. On December 14, 2018, he formally joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in the presence of M. K. Stalin, the party’s president.

On May 23, 2019, he was chosen to serve as an MLA for a fourth term. V. Senthil Balaji was questioned by Enforcement Directorate agents in the early hours of June 14 in relation to allegations made while he was serving as the transport minister in the AIADMK-led government from 2011 to 2015, before joining the DMK, in Chennai and Coimbatore.
