Reportedly, Saskatoon Police registered the homicide case after they received a weapons call and found a woman severely injured at the scene. The police tried to provide her with medical treatment and admitted her to the Royal University Hospital but the woman could not survive. She succumbed to her injuries and passed away. The assault case turned into a homicide and police booked two women in relation to this case. Reportedly, Saskatoon police have charged the two women with second-degree murder. Two arrested women in the Saskatoon Homicide case are aged 42 and 37, both are facing the charge of second-degree murder. This incident is a matter on Saturday afternoon at around 1:22 pm when the Saskatoon Police Service responded to the weapons call and responded to an address on the 300 block of Avenue H South. A spokesperson for the Saskatoon Police said, “Upon arrival, patrol officers located an injured 35-year-old female. Patrol Officers and Medavie attendants began life-saving measures and the female was transported to the Royal University Hospital. The female succumbed to her injuries a short time later.”
As per the recent reports, the Major Crime and Forensic Identification teams are looking into the case and investigating the evidence. Police are treating this case as a homicide. The identities of the suspects have been kept secret but police confirmed that the suspects apparently know each other and they will attend the Provincial Court on June 12, 2023.
