Follow us around for all the insights. After many months of preparation, Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan tied the knot with Saudi Arabian beauty Rajwa Al-Saif earlier today in Amman, Jordan. The royal affair, which comes as no surprise, was watched and followed by millions around the world. And the guest list of the wedding was brimming with much-loved members of international royal families, from the Prince and Princess of Wales to King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain, Princess Elisabeth and King Philippe of Belgium, and many more.

As for the couple, all eyes have been on the newlyweds since the very first time they announced their engagement. Along with the venue, decor, and celebrity guests, a major talking point has been what the bride will wear for her special day. And now, we finally have a first look at Rajwa Al-Saif’s bridal look. Prior to today’s wedding ceremony, Rajwa Al-Saif celebrated at her henna party in a beautiful ivory and gold Honayda creation that celebrated both, her and Prince Hussein’s roots with meaningful embroidered details, from seven-pointed stars that hold special value to Jordan, to palm trees to represent Saudi Arabia. For her wedding day, the future queen of Jordan opted for none other than Elie Saab. Her pick was all-white. Rajwa was a vision to behold as she walked down the aisle today at Zahran Palace, the very same location where the Prince’s parents, Queen Rania and King Abdullah, were married many years ago.

She was seen stepping out of her car with sister-in-law Princess Iman holding her hand, Rajwa Al-Saif wore her white wedding gown with an elaborate veil that tailed meters behind her. The dress itself was a body-skimming number that came sans embellishment but stood out for its elegantly sculpted asymmetrical neckline. Along with the full-sleeved gown came a detachable train with floral detailing that added volume and drama to her wedding look. It was reported that Rajwa Al-Sai’s wedding gown was made with 6kg of pearls. A grand event for a grand celebration, Rajwa Al-Saif’s haute couture Elie Saab gown was crafted using crepe fabric and took 20 people and a total of three months to complete.

The gown was anything but ordinary, featuring 550 petals, and 6kgs of pearls, crystals, and beads. The bride walked to the altar with her groom’s younger brother, Prince Hashem. As for Prince Hussein, the royal looked dapper as ever as he waited for his bride at the alter, dressed in all his military regalia.
