Story of Bhediya Movie:
The story begins with a Delhi-based road construction contractor Bhaskar (Varun Dhawan) going to Arunachal Pradesh with his cousin Janardhan or known to be JD (Abhishek Bannerjee) is joined by a local Northeastern friend, Jomin (Paalin Kabak). The trio starts their mission of convincing the tribals to give their respective land and allow road construction on it. Bhaskar convinces the youth that they need malls and “Netflix not nature”.
They encounter strange incidents, the most important one being Bhasker getting bitten by a wolf. Soon, he acquires characteristics and traits of the creature, and from hereon, the folklore about a shape-shifting wolf called ‘vishanu’ picks up and the story gets more interesting and gripping. With a running time of more than two and a half hours, the film overstays its welcome, compounded by the traditional Bollywood speed breakers of dance and song and romantic interludes.
