Akshay Kumar’s starrer Mission Raniganj has been creating a significant amount of buzz and the film also stars Parineeti Chopra as the female lead. However, the film managed to attract a great deal of attention ever since the updates related to the film were uncovered. Meanwhile, the tracks and trailer of the film were received well and it became the subject of concern after the change in its name. As you all know, an inspiring life story based on the life of Jaswant Singh Gill was earlier titled, Mission Raniganj: The Great India Rescue but changed later to Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, amidst India’s renaming row.

Reportedly, in a recent interview, Akshay Kumar broke his silence on the film’s tagline change. Reportedly, in a recent conversation with the media, Akshay Kumar addressed the reason behind the tagline change and said that we would not create any harm or hurt any feelings if we changed the name from India to Bharat and he added that viewers must focus on enjoyment. Furthermore, he continued and said that India was not wrong and the actor quoted by saying that, I agree India is not wrong and is also right. Bharat is a great name and it is our constitution, therefore we decided to change it. Moreover, Akshay Kumar during a virtual interaction with students of the Indian Institute of Technology explained the importance of narrating the stories of innocent heroes.

Furthermore, he added and said that he was fortunate enough to meet Jaswant Singh when he was alive and described him as humble, simple, and down to earth that it was genuinely an honor to converse with him. He added that people must know about the sacrificing stories of heroes that he would like to keep making films like and tell today’s youth about such great visionaries.
