The 42-year-old founder of Skims posted a TikTok from Angelina Wiley on Friday, July 14, on her Instagram story. A 22-year-old Kansas City native survived a mass shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, earlier this year. Since it was posted on May 18, more than 1.4 million people have seen the TikTok as a result of fellow TikTokers tagging Kim Kardashian in the hope that she will see the video. In her Instagram story, The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star captioned the reposted video with “Wowwww”.

In March of last year, the 22-year-old revealed in a series of videos that as she was waiting for a Lyft at about 1:30 am, she had decided to get some food from a neighboring food truck. As Wiley and her buddy crossed the street she heard “people fighting”, and then a man “in a ski mask” started firing. Wiley said in the video, “Kim Kardashian saved my life”.

During an incident that occurred on New Year’s Day according to reports, she explained that she was shot “four times”. She said, “Under my dress, I was wearing a Skis Shaping bodysuit, the night that I got shot. It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out”. She has taken to TikTok to share updates on her progress and spreads gun violence awareness.
