ICAI CA New Course
First of all, let us tell you what CA Anupam Sharma said on behalf of ICAI. CA Anupam Sharma said that the new ICAI CA course will not be implemented from November 2023 attempt. Previously it was expected the new course would be implemented from the November attempt this year but it has been delayed for a few months. “Notification will follow soon. It has been confirmed that the new course will not be implemented this year but what is the next expected date for the new course. As per the sources, it is expected that the new course effect may appear next year in the May attempt. Implementation of CA’s new course would take place in May 2024. The ICAI has proposed New Education Scheme to prepare Chartered Accountants (CAs) on the global level by equipping them with the requisite competencies. The New Education Scheme also takes care that there is a Common Curriculum for both domestic and international students, with the possibility of country specific papers.
As per the reports, the new education scheme CA syllabus for 2023 combines some papers from all three levels and some also have been removed.
