After being postponed earlier today, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) conducted an unmanned flying test. Test Vehicle Development Flight Mission-1 (TV-D1 Flight Test) was the name of the first unmanned flight test that was planned to take off from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. In the meantime, a list of 30 Star Campaigners for the next Mizoram assembly elections was made public by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday. Following the successful launch of the Gaganyaan test flight, Prime Minister Modi praised the country. He used the X to share his excitement for the launch, which had a small setback earlier. “With this launch, we are one step closer to completing Gaganyaan, India’s maiden program for human spaceflight. In his post, the PM said, “My best wishes to our scientists at ISRO.” Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) following the first effective test flight of India’s planned operated space mission, Gaganyaan: “After the successful launch of the Chandrayaan-3, our country is ready to take its next giant stride in the expanse of space.”

Originally, ISRO planned for the Test Vehicle Abort Mission-1 (TV-D1) to launch from Sriharikota on Saturday at 8 AM. The space agency, however, has suddenly declared that the lift-off will now occur at 8.30 AM, with no explanation given. On Saturday, ISRO successfully launched a test flight for the Gaganyaan mission on its second attempt, having placed the first one on hold.
