Who are Elena Rybakina Parents?
Tennis player Elena Andreyevna Rybakina was born in Kazakhstan on June 17, 1999. She is the current Wimbledon winner and the first Kazakh player to win a major championship. She is also the first player from Kazakhstan to be ranked in the top 10, with a career-high ranking of No. 7 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), and the No. 1 player in women’s singles in Kazakhstan at the moment. Rybakina has advanced to twelve other WTA Tour finals and won three additional championships, including a WTA 1000 title at the 2023 Indian Wells Masters. Rybakina reached her highest combined junior rating of No. 3 at the age of 17, which was very late in her junior career. She won a Grade-A championship at the Trofeo Bonfiglio in 2017 and advanced to the semifinals of two junior Grand Slam tournaments.
Rybakina, who was born in Russia and currently represents that country, changed federations to Kazakhstan in June 2018, a month after making her debut in the top 200.
