Multiple media reports are stating that scientists fear a hole in the 600-mile-long fault line which could trigger a destructive earthquake that would destroy cities along the northwestern United States. The reports state that the hole spewed hot liquid sits fifty miles off the shoreline of Oregon, on the boundary of the dipping fault which is known as the Cascadia Subduction Zone, which spans from Northern California into Canada. Now this geological feature has the ability to unleash magnitude-9 tremors on the side of the Pacific Northwest. The report states that this leak was 1st observed in the year 2015.
