What did Emma Adams do?
Emma Adams, 20, is charged with the murder of a student whose charred remains were found in a backyard bonfire. According to Columbia Police, the University of Missouri student who has high-functioning autism was reported missing after being last seen riding an Uber to Emma Adams’ home. She initially stated that Ms. Adams denied knowing them when questioned by the authorities about the missing student. Later, when the police wanted to check out the backyard and they could see the remains in the fire pit, she consented. Emma Adams did indeed kill Mizzou student Samuel.
After Samuel’s body was found smoldering in a fire pit a week earlier outside a Bentley Courthouse, Adams was charged on Wednesday. The inquiry started when the University of Missouri Police were called to a dorm to do a health check. They arrived at the house thanks to the call. Authorities initially claimed they couldn’t identify the bones because of how they were preserved. Before charges were brought, CPD thanked “members of the community for coming forward with information on this matter,” but it did not provide any other details. The investigation was then started after Clemons’ mother called campus police to report that her child hadn’t been in touch with her in a few days, which prompted the welfare check.
When Clemons was seen in a video boarding an Uber that took him to Bentley Court, police investigated the information they had. According to reports, Adams acknowledged stabbing the man in self-defense. Not to mention that the police found blood in the house, yard, and on a nearby automobile. A mobile that matched the victim’s description was found in a washbasin, submerged in water, and an officer saw a section of a missing mattress burning in the fire pit. When Samuel’s body was found, Emma Adams was detained and charged with second-degree murder. She acknowledged killing a college student with a knife.
