Who Is Lauren Cook?

Authorities are becoming more concerned for the safety of a Virginia lady and her three small children who have been missing for more than a week. Benjamin, 7, Hannah, 5, and Elijah, 2, along with Lauren Cook, 30, were last seen on September 5 in Franklin County, Virginia. Since that time, nobody has been able to get in touch with or find them. In a Facebook post, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the public in locating the missing family. They claimed that Cook’s spouse is very worried about his kids and is not connected to the disappearance. He is concerned about “where are my children at” like any father would be, Sergeant Megan Huston told WSET.

Huston added that the absence of a custody dispute or other indications of danger makes the case exceptional. “Usually you see where a non-custodial parent will run off with the kids, which is not the case in this situation,” Huston said. “We don’t have any indications that she is in danger, but we’re just looking for them to make sure they’re okay,” said the search team. According to the authorities, Lauren Elizabeth Tousa Cook is 5’1″ with brown eyes and long hair. Hannah Cook, age 5, has blonde hair and brown eyes, whereas Benjamin Cook, age 7, has blonde hair and blue eyes. Two-year-old Elijah Cook also has blonde hair and blue eyes.
