JioCinema is an Indian subscription video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service owned by Viacom 18. Launched on 5 September 2016, JioCinema’s content library includes films, television shows, web series, music videos, documentaries, and sports. The service was originally launched as part of Reliance’s mobile provider Jio. In April 2022, it was announced that JioCinema would be moved under its Viacom 18 partnership with Paramount Global, as part of a larger round of investments into the company to focus on streaming. JioCinema has aggregated content from partners like ALTBalaji, Paramount Pictures, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Viacom 18, Shemaroo Entertainment, Balaji Motion Pictures, Sun NXT, SonyLIV, and others.

In December 2018, JioCinema partnered with Disney India to offer Disney content in the JioCinema app. Disney has withdrawn from this deal after the introduction of Disney+ Hotstar in India. In December 2019, Sun TV Network hosted over 4,000 movies, available on the Sun NXT platform across 4 South Indian languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The synopsis of the movie is that when her curious youngster requests a new father on a 30-day “Trial Period”, the world of a working single mother is turned upside down. The straightforward yet kind man from Ujjain shows up as a result, who is in sharp contrast to them. Their many personalities clash as they work through the difficulties of an unusual family dynamic.
