Why did Todd Yakoubian leave KATV?
For nearly eighteen years, meteorologist Todd Yakoubian has been a familiar face on KATV Channel 7, and last week he announced his impending resignation from the network. On August 14, Yakoubian announced his departure in a video that was posted to Facebook and Twitter but omitted the date of his last day at the station. He obtained their endorsements by holding memberships in the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. He received the prestigious Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology (CBM) from the American Meteorological Society in May 2008 in recognition of his great scholastic background, vast knowledge, and strong communication abilities.
