According to official reports, Tamil Nadu Minister V Senthil Balaji was transferred from a private hospital to the Puzhal Central Prison on Monday after being detained by the Enforcement Directorate in a cash-for-jobs case. The minister gets access to ‘A’ class prison accommodations. He would be provided with the required amenities in accordance with the rules. For instance, according to required protocols, a medical examination has been performed, according to jail sources. The minister was detained on June 14 by the ED, and a court in this location extended his detention until July 26. Senthil Balaji was hospitalized after his arrest. The police filed FIRs in the cash-for-jobs fraud, and the ED then recorded the Enforcement Case Information Report. Senthil Balaji was subsequently detained by the ED in a money laundering case related to the scheme.
