According to the report, 2023 of Parliament, the winter session will start on 4th December and start till 22nd December having 15 sittings spread over 19 days. On the day of 3 December, the results of 5 state assembly elections will be announced which are Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana. The output of the assembly elections will have a major bearing on the session at a time when the government is curious to pass key bills.  On the “cash-for-query, The report of the Ethics Committee charges against TMC MP Mahua Moitra will be submitted in LokSabha at the time of the session. On the basis of the report, a bill also will be submitted by the government to get the approval of Parliament for adaptation to the Centre’s 35 trillion spending program in the current fiscal. The bills related to the replacement of the IPC, CrPC, and the Evidence Act may be taken up for consideration at the time of the session.
