As per the reports, the driver of the bus suddenly experiences a medical emergency while driving the bus carrying 66 students of Carter Middle School in Warren. However, the driver of the bus informed the officials that she was not feeling well. The 13-year-old boy Dillon Reeves reportedly leaped to the driver’s seat from his seat about five rows back and took the control of bus’s steering. He steered the bus to a safe place when the driver of the bus experienced a medical emergency. The councilman of Warren named Jonathan Lafferty stated, “The City of Warren is very proud of our 7th Grade Hero Dillon Reeves! This young man jumped into action when his school bus driver experienced a medical emergency, bringing the bus to a stop and avoiding what could have been a very tragic accident. According to the reports, the driver of the bus passed out at the wheel when they were coming back home from school on Wednesday. A video of the incident also has been released, which shows the bus driver messaging the officials that she was not feeling well and she had to pull over.
