The following articles contain major manga spoilers. You may proceed at your own discretion! The Jujutsu Kaien world is extremely unpredictable. The lives of the shamans are always on the line, whether they are students or special grades. These shamans have mortal enemies called cursed spirits, but sometimes the bigger enemies lie among people themselves. Ever since Itadori Yuji’s story started, it seemed like the Jujutsu Kaisen’s villains knew too much. Of Course, Geto leading them was a factor, but they are intricacies that no villain should have known. They knew about the Jujutsu High College’s inside-outs, Itadori Yuuji, and even Gojo Satoru. There was surely something suspicious going on, and even Gojo realized it.
Is Gojo The Traitor?
Previously too, Jujutsu Kaisen, the villains knew everything about Tengen-sama’s star vessel, the Geto-Gojo duo’s movements, and penetrated the Tokyo High’s grounds. They had found ways to get close enough to render Gojo Satoru unable to fight. When the curses attacked the Kyoto Sister Exchange Event, Gojo’s hunch was confirmed. there was definitely a traitor amongst them, if not multiple. Gojo shared his concern with Utahime and asked her to investigate the Kyoto school.
Who Is The Traitor In Jujutsu Kaisen?
Here finding was unexpected as one traitor was found out. Surprisingly, Mechamaru was revealed to be a traitor. After a thorough investigation by Utahime, she identifies the identity of one traitor. She tells Gojo that Mechamaru or Kokichi Muta, a second-year at Kyoto Jujutsu High, is the traitor. However, we know that Kokichi’s actual body is elsewhere while he controls a cursed corpse, Mechanmaru. His ability is wide-range that can cover the entire nation due to heavenly restriction. So, he controlled small discs with cursed energy to spy on the school’s activities without drawing attention. Here’s why he turned himself into a traitor.
In his fight against Panda, Kokichi reveals that his body is in an abysmal state. His skin is sensitive to even moonlight while his 3/4 limbs are dysfunctional, rendering him wrapped in bandages. under such a silly state, he resented that he could not have a future outside Jujutsu. His frustration and anger regarding his abnormal body were pent-up for so long that he agreed to be the traitor. Mahito and Geto promised Kokichi a normal body by Idle Transfiguration in exchange for cooperation and information. They also created a binding vow with him, sealing the deal. After all, even if Kokichi did not want to deceive his people anymore, he couldn’t go against it.
Even with the identity of one traitor known, before going after him, Utahime reveals another important piece of information. There is another mole besides Kokichi amongst the Jujutsu sorcerers. According to Utahime, the second mole, unlike Kokichi, is someone ranked higher than even the principals who are cooperating with the curses. This piece of information, however, is too vague for Utahime to do anything. It is also dangerous to point fingers at shamans who have a significant presence in the Jujutsu world. Thank you for being a patient reader.
