The stolen statue of the Gorilla is an eight-foot large statue and it was placed in a garden center outside Reynard’s Nursery located in Lanarkshire near Carluke. Later, the 8-foot large Gorilla statue was spotted traveling on the M40 in CCTV footage. The CCTV footage shows Gary a massive fiberglass beast was being taken on a black pickup northbound on the M40. Officials believe that the stolen Gary was driven from Carluke to the Glasgow area. Later the owner of the garden was asked about the incident, Andrew Scott said, “The pictures are very grainy but a white van pulls up and several people get out.
