Reports state that the suspect became angry and started slicing staff members with a weapon after learning that there were too many guests.

According to Fritz Fragé, the director of public safety in Newark, Abdul-Hakim faces several charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault. Serving the healthcare requirements of Newark and the surrounding Northern Jersey region, Newark Beth Israel Medical Centre (NBIMC), formerly known as Newark Beth Israel Hospital, is a 665-bed quaternary care, teaching hospital situated in Newark, New Jersey. The third-largest hospital in the RWJBarnabas Health System is owned by the hospital.

With more than 100 residents, NBIMC is connected to Rutgers University’s New Jersey Medical School. Although it offers an emergency room for adults and children, significant trauma is often handled by the University Hospital, which is close by. The Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, which treats children and adolescents up to age 21, is connected to the medical facility. According to sources, the guy pulled out a sword and began slashing employees after being told that there were too many guests. According to officials, all three employees received pay cuts. During the incident, no patients or family members suffered any injuries. With only minor wounds, the victims were brought to the hospital’s emergency room.
