Who Is Erin Honeycutt?

Erin Honeycutt is 38 years old woman and she is a resident of Michigan. Earlier the Michigan woman used to shave her face three times a day but later she decided to ditch her routine of shaving three times a day and grow a beard. Eventually, her name came into the Guinness Book of World Records. Erin Honeycutt is now maintaining her not-so-weird beard as she has successfully cultivated an astonishing beard of 30 cm or 11.8 inches. The world record holder also spoke up about her beard. Erin Honeycutt said she has taken it as a blessing because “It hides her “double chin” but “gets stuck in everything”. Further, Erin added that she was once ashamed of it but now it is satisfying to earn a world record for something. Honeycutt said I never thought that I would be able to attain or achieve a goal that would let me be in a book. And it’s just kind of a nice thing to be recognized.

However, it has not been as easy as growing a beard for men, Erin came a long way to earn the world record. Her journey of growing a long beard was very challenging. She said, “Shaving, waxing, and using hair-removal products were all ways that Honeycutt tried to keep her beard tamed when it started growing after she turned 13.” She kept on doing the same till her adulthood but she got tired of shaving thrice a day. So she started growing her beard after taking the suggestion of her wife Jen.
