Producer TAPE Inc. announced Thursday that the longest-running noontime program Eat Bulaga will continue but with a new cast of hosts. Hosts Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon, who announced their retirement on Wednesday, were thanked by TAPE Inc. in a statement. “TAPE Inc. is saddened by the turn of events yesterday, May 31, but we respect the hosts’ decision to leave Eat Bulaga and the GMA 7 Network, which has been their home for 28 years,” the statement said. We express our gratitude to the men and women who have sacrificed much over the past 43 years to make our noontime show the best.
The show’s crew, talented cast members, and devoted viewers all work together to make Eat Bulaga successful, it was stated.
