This show has recently wrapped and announced the name of the winner. The winner of MasterChef Australia 2023 is all over the internet and people are sending their congratulatory messages to him. The contestant who lifts the trophy of the winner is Brent Draper.

However, it is not the first time that he has appeared on the show, even in 2021 he participate in the show but sadly at that time, he dropped out. But now he made a brilliant coming back and lift the trophy of the show. The show has crowned the winner with returning contestants and along with it, he gets a huge cash prize which is around $250,000. Although the culinary battle of the last race was not easy as Brent faced Rhiannon Anderson who is a brilliant chef. But with his different culinary skills, he gets succeed to impress the judges and appearing as the winner. The fans of Townsville are surely sad with the defeat of Anderson but they are happy for the winning of Draper.

His fans are sending congratulatory messages to him for his winning and they are keen to know that if he managed to win this show then why he dropped out in 2021. Now, he has shared the reason for his dropping out in the season of 2021. He said that at that time the pressures of the competition and being away from family created an adverse effect on his mental health but now he is happy to make them proud. Their family of Brent appeared on the finale episode of the show and his father confessed that he was quite nervous about his son coming back to the competition but now he is happy that he became the winner of the show.

His father said, “After last time, I thought, you have got to be careful, mate. I was worried about how he would do this time and hoped his mental health was good but now I am happy that he won the show and he performed really well. I am so proud of him.” Those who watched the last episode know that, for their 1st round of cooking, the first challenge was assigned by Judge Melissa Leong in which the paid had to work to create “a dish that tells a story.” It was a quite tough challenge as the contestant was supposed to narrate a story but not with words but through food.

In this round, the winner Draper cooked a dish of pork chop with the use of tamarind ketchup glaze and he tossed it with salsa and roast cabbage. The judges were highly impressed with his dish and called it perfectly executed. Judge Andy Allen was speechless and complimented with a round of applause. He got 29 marks out of 30 in 1st challenge. The mother of five cooked crispy pork belly with citrus caramel, fennel and complimented it with crispy shallots and orange salad. Her dish also impressed the judges and Andy called the dish the “best-looking plate”. However, the taste of the dish did not beat the dish of Draper and Rhiannon got 25 marks out of 30. The judges noted that she had been a little stingy with the sauce which affected her dish. The next round was also tough but in the end, Brent managed to win the title of this season.
