The bartender who received Alaia’s used tampon is identified as Haleigh Cauley who said the club security informed her “an intoxicated female,” later identified as 31-year-old Alaia Aronow, forced her way into the locked employee restroom. The claim of Haleigh Cauley was supported by surveillance footage retrieved by the authorities.
When Haleigh Cauley asked Alaia to leave, she said she was told Aronow needed time to change her tampon but she threw the used tampon at her. During an interview with Us Weekly on Friday, March 1, 2024, Bartender Haleigh Cauley said, “Her friends said she needed a minute and she said, ‘I need to change my tampon. She proceeded to stay in the bathroom. Upon arriving, the officers of the Savannah Police Department found several employees assaulted by Aronow. The police officers were told they were trying to remove Alaia from the bar after finding vomit in the employee sink.
