In the latest report, it was reported that Dharmendra Pradhan, a Minister of Education and Skill Development took the initiative and launched AI FOR INDIA 2.0, which is a free training course on artificial intelligence on World Youth Skills Day. The program is a joint partnership of GUVI (Grab Ur Vernacular Imprint), an IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad incubated ed-tech company, and Skill India which motives to educate students in nine languages. On the launch, Pradhan said that emerging like AI should not be allowed to become a prisoner of language. He called for technology courses in Indian languages. He added to the statement and said that it is a good beginning towards disbalance in language barriers in technology and future-proofing our Youth Shakti, especially in rural areas.
Furthermore, he added that India is a technology-savvy country and the success story in the adoption of digital payments in India is a case to be noted. He also expressed his satisfaction that GUVI has taken this initiative to educate the bottom of the population in reducing the technologies. The Minister also warmly congratulated the novel initiative, on the easy accessibility of AI learning to every part of the nation. - Step 2 – Complete the fee Python course and registration processes.
- Step 3 – Attend the virtual event on August 15 and submit your projects.
See, it’s that simple! However, registration is open till August 14, 2023, and will contain hands-on learning with the help of a virtual event. The GUVI website also states that internship opportunities for the best performers in the grand virtual event of AI for India 2.0 will be provided as a bonus.
