Recently, it was reported that Joe Biden has announced to appoint Indian-American Shamina Singh to Global Trade Committee. It was believed that Washington, US’s President Joe Biden has announced his intent to appoint Shamita Singh who likely become the Indian-Amercian business leader to the President’s Export Council which serves as the principal national advisory committee on International trade. Significantly, Singh the Founder and President of the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and has said that she is honored to join the group of esteemed leaders that comprises the President’s Export Council. On July 14, a statement from the White House announcing his intent to appoint Singh to serve in the key role has issued.
Furthermore, the Council advises the president of government policies and programs that affect US trade performance to promote export expansion and provides a forum for discussing and resolving trade-related problems among the business, industrial, agricultural, labor, and government sectors. Moreover, Shamina also serves as the Executive Vice President of sustainability of Mastercard and is a member of the company’s Management Committee. With over 20 years of global experience, she has served herself to develop a unique social impact model that increased productivity in the public and private sector assets.
