Who is Rex Heuermann?
Recently, it was reported that on Friday, July 14, New York state authorities announced the arrest of architect Rex H. on suspicion of him being the Gilgo Beach serial killer. The officials state that Rex, a 59-year-old man from Massapequa Park has been tied to 11 sets of human remains discovered on Long Islands. The Rex was traced through a combination of DNA samples, phone records, and his online history, which was reported by the officials.

Today, as of July 15, Rex has been officially charged and arrested with three murders. However, all the victims were reportedly escorts that he had hired off Craiglist. Other victims included Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello. Moreover, he is also suspected of slaying a fourth woman, whose identity has not been revealed. As per the reports, Rex is the founder of RH Consultants and Associates. As per Forbes magazine, he is a renowned Long Island architect who founded RH Consultants and Associates in 1994. in 2020, he appeared on the Bonjour Reality show, where he said that he had been a New York-based architect since 1987. According to Suffolk County authorities, however, the family man does have a dark side. According to the suspect’s neighbors, he was an individual with a quiet and stable mind, though occasionally shows signs of a short temper. However, during Halloween, local children were told to stay away from their houses.

As per the sources, while living a normal life, he may also have been preying on women through Craigslist. Suffolk County Police Commissioner also commented on the incident. The investigators eventually traced the records of several phones which victims used to contact, resulting them back to the architect. Moreover, they discovered his search history which revealed that he was googling questions about the investigation process.
