Don’t Forget the Lyrics! is soon to make a comeback with a new season. The sing-along game’s musical competition will be back to test the participants’ musical expertise. Each episode features participants singing along to the music while watching the lyrics on screens until they can no longer do so and must finish the song on their own. The candidates on Fox’s second season of the sing-along competition will have the chance to win up to $1 million, and all they have to do is perform flawlessly.
The contestants will have the option of selecting songs from various genres, decades, and performers before going on stage to perform with the studio band. Don’t Forget the Lyrics! season 2, before each contender begins their individual performances, the song lyrics are briefly shown on the screens. Then, the music and lyrics vanish, leaving the participants to finish the song on their own. They must correctly sing nine songs in order to be eligible to compete for the main prize, and then they will be given a “No. 1 hit” to perform as they try to win the $1 million. Niecy Nash, an actress, writer, producer, and director, is returning to host Don’t Forget the Lyrics! season 2.
