Sources have stated that the accident happened on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in Arusha province. Talking about the circumstances surrounding the accident, it has been explained that a car was traveling in Noah type to attend the graduation ceremony in Kilimanjaro province where their son was graduating from six but unfortunately, they became the victim of a flood tragedy that occurred in Malula Tarafa county. Reportedly, this incident happened at around 8:40 am on Tuesday morning. The car was being driven by Naimani Metili, the father of the family. Naimani Metili was traveling with five passengers in the car to attend the graduation ceremony of his son. But suddenly their car was swept by flood in Malalula. The district commissioner of Arumeru, Emmanuela Kaganda said four people lost their lives while two passengers have survived the tragedy. Three victims who died were of the same family.
