Who are Emma Raducanu’s parents?

Born on 13 November 2002, Emma Raducanu is a British tennis player. On July 11, 2022, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) gave her a career-high ranking of No. 10, making her the current British No. 1. Since Virginia Wade at the 1977 Wimbledon Championships, Raducanu is the first British woman to win a Grand Slam singles championship. Raducanu was raised in London after being born in Toronto. In June 2021, she made her WTA Tour debut. Outside outside the top 300 and given a wildcard entry to Wimbledon, she advanced to the fourth round of her maiden major competition.

Raducanu defeated Leylah Fernandez in the 2021 US Open final without dropping a set, making history as the first singles qualifier to win a Grand Slam title in the Open Era.
