This new name replaces the previous one which was associated with one of the longest-reigning dynasties of India. Due to their Mughal architecture, these gardens were given the name of the longest-reigning dynasties. As per the reports, Lady Hardinge appointed British architect Sir Edward Lutyens in order to construct it.
Every year, in the month of February this Amrit Garden has opened for local tourists and people visiting from all over the world to watch the beauty of this garden. The report states that in this garden, people can watch all types of flowers and trees. However, keep in mind that people are not allowed to pick up flowers or any fruits. According to the reports, President Droupadi Murmu will ultimately launch the Amrit Udyan gardens. The general public is heartily welcome from Tuesday, 31st January 2023 to March 2023 in the bright green and beautiful garden filled with many wonderful and mesmerizing blooms. Though, the garden is closed for a few days which we are mentioning below:-
- Mondays- Because Of Maintenance
- 18th March 2023- Because Of Holi
- 28th March-31st March- On these days gardens will be accessible to special groups
How To Book Rashtrapati Bhavan Mughal Garden Ticket?
People can book the tickets online and for that, they need to visit rb.nic.in/rbvisit/visit_plan.aspx or rashtrapatisachivalaya.gov.in
Those people who don’t know how to register online can directly walk in but before that, they need to take admission to the grounds and register themselves at the facilitation desks and the self-service kiosks. People can find these desks at gate number 12 located at Rashtrapati Bhavan. But keep in mind that the garden has a limited capacity so it is better to book the tickets online. The time of visiting the garden is between 10:00 AM and 04:00 PM. There are no charges for booking the tickets which means anyone can visit here. However, you will have to bring any ID proof with you.
