Leonardo Rizzuto was shot while he was traveling in his black Mercedes on Highway 440 West. Reportedly, he was alone at that time and it was rush hour when a failed attack was attempted. However, the younger son of Vito Rizzuto survived the attack and managed to escape from there but he sustained leg and shoulder injuries as he was hit by two projectiles.
