For the first time in the history of cricket, ICC is organizing the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. This will further promote women’s cricket.

The historic tournament will be held in South Africa from January 14 to January 29.

A total of 16 teams will participate in the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, with Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe as full member teams. 5 teams UAE, Rwanda, Scotland, Indonesia and USA reached here through regional qualifier tournament.

The opening match of the tournament will be played between Australia and Bangladesh, who are considered strong contenders to win the title.
