Stone pelting from Nepal towards India again, attack on workers in Uttarakhand; Broken damper-JCB glass
At Ghatkhola in Dharchula, Uttarakhand, stones were again pelted from the Nepalese side at the workers constructing the embankment. Mirrors of dumper and JCB were broken by stone pelting. Apart from this, the driver of the dumper was also slightly injured.

Apart from this, the driver of the dumper was also injured. The fact of the incident has been confirmed by the executive engineer of the irrigation department. This is the 11th incident of stone pelting in Nepal.
Project manager Indrajit Sharma said, “Our work has been delayed by 10-15 days.” If this situation continues, it will be difficult. The safety of the workers should be ensured. Two dumpers were damaged in this attack. On the other hand, confirming the truth of the incident, the executive engineer of the irrigation department said that during the work, stones were thrown from the direction of Nepal. The dumper was damaged and the driver was injured. We demand action to stop it.
