The show features characters from the Smackdown brand, to which WWE employees are assigned to work and perform, The show as of October 2022 is currently considered to be one of two flagship shows.

WWE Backlash is almost ready to ignite the fans of San Juan, Puerto Rico, but they will get a chance to see some of their favorite wrestlers and the biggest recording artist in the world, night ahead of time tonight on WWE Smackdown. Bad Bunny was announced some time ago as the host of Backlash, which made all the sense in the world. But he’s been embroiled in some drama involving The Judgment Day since WrestleMania, and it all boiled over once Damian Priest put him through an announce table.

As tends to happen in WWE, Bad Bunny came looking for Priest with a kendo stick and the two men ended up getting booked for a San Juan Street Fight for Saturday night. Since the crew needs to travel to Saudi Arabia next week for the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC WWE has taped next week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Here are the results from the tapings. It was reported that Austin Theory defeated Sheamus to retain the WWE United States Championships.

Raquel Rodriguez and mystery partner Shotzi defeated Damage CTRL. Cameron Grimes defeated Ashante Thee Adonis and post-match, Baron Corbin attacked Grimes. Bianca Belair cut a promo in the ring to hype her upcoming title defense against Asuka at Night of Champions. Asuka came out to attack Belair, who eventually got the upper hand. LA Knight defeated Rick Boogs. The Street Profits were on commentary. Post-match, LA Knight called out The Street Profits. AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross after Mia Yim prevented Scarlett from interfering in the match.

The KO Show with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa was the main event segment. They ended up brawling with The Bloodline getting the upper hand and ended up with Reigns, Solo, and Jey Uso standing tall. Thank you for being a patient reader.
