A person who is a native of Sri Lanka and aged 17 years, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Michelle Maria Causo. The 17-year-old boy who is originally from Sri Lanka but was born in Rome, was charged with the killing of his peer. He was interrogated and questioned for hours after being taken into custody. As per the reports, the body of Michelle Maria Causo was found on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in the afternoon in a supermarket shopping trolley via Stefano Borgia in the Primavalle district on the outskirts of Rome. Upon interrogating the 17-year-old accused it was learned that the comparison was detailed and analytical regarding what happened in the house via Dusmet and it also suggested that the boy may admit. The witness reportedly noticed a man dragging the shopping trolly along the street from which the blood was flowing out. He immediately informed the authorities. The officers arrived at the scene within a few minutes and found the dead body of a young girl inside the shopping trolley. The officers of the Flying Squad of the Rome Police Headquarters and Primavelle Police Station followed the traces of the blood left on the street and reached a building near the scene. The suspect is also a young man who was a friend of the victim as well. Primavaalle Police Station is near the place where the body of the young girl was found. The forensic team conducted the surveys right inside the home of the victim. It is believed that the murder of the girl happened after an argument between them. The girl was killed with a kitchen knife. She was found with stabbing injuries in multiple parts. Officers said the victim tried to reach before succumbing to her injuries.
