Salaar is being delayed until December, according to earlier reports on Friday, because the movie’s post-production work has not yet been completed. Additionally, on Friday, Taran tweeted, “Those asking, sure, #Salaar is postponed. #Prabhas.” Salaar, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, is directed by Prashanth Neel of the KGF fame. The same technical team behind the KGF series’ successful KGF franchise produced the movie under Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films banner. At Ramoji City in Hyderabad, 14 sets were built for the movie’s filming on a budget of about 200 crore rupees. It will be made available in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, among other languages.

Tinnu Anand was prominently featured in the movie’s trailer as he bravely stood surrounded by many armed guys who were aiming their firearms at him. Prabhas soon after became known as the king of the jungle. Prithviraj Sukumaran was also seen in the teaser, however, Shruti Haasan was not. Due to Salaar’s postponement, some other films took advantage of the open time slot. On September 28, which was previously reserved for Salaar, Fukrey 3 with Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, Pankaj Tripathi, and Manjot Singh will now be released in theatres. Tiger Nageswara Rao, a film by Ravi Teja, will now be released on September 29.
