is increasing in the country Road accidents It has become the talk of the town at this time. But it is nobody’s responsibility to reduce them. It is our responsibility to follow road safety rules and help reduce accidents. under the same responsibility TV 9 Network and Continental have jointly launched road safety campaign.

The PKBnews Network Road to Safety Summit presented by Continental Tires was attended by Abhilash Thapliyal, former Team India cricketer and commentator Murali Karthik, former Indian cricketer Amit Bhandari and Special Commissioner of Traffic Delhi Police Surender Singh Yadav. All of them talk a lot about road safety.

You have to be afraid of the stick

Abhilash Thapliyal said that there is a need to be strict about regular rules. He said, I think our country runs with only two things, one with a flag and the other with a stick. When 10 invoices of Rs 5,000 are repeatedly deducted, it automatically gets in the mind of people not to cross this line. That’s why there should be fear of sticks.

Where Murali Karthik said that everyone knows what is right and what is wrong. It is the responsibility of all of us as citizens not to cross the line.

‘People need to understand the road is for everyone’

Surinder Singh Yadav believes that we need to understand that the road is for all of us. He said, talking about traffic management today, we have become automobile, car or vehicle centric. We should see whether he is a pedestrian or a two-wheeler or a rickshaw puller, what is his weakness. At the same time, Amik Bhandari said, somewhere or other, one should be aware of everything.

Speaking on road safety, Rohit Baluja, president of Road Safety Education Institute said, “We are building roads, increasing vehicles, giving 3.5 lakh licenses every year, which is a very good thing.” But no one is responsible for road safety here. The real issue is that we have to investigate why these accidents are happening. But is the test accurate? Today we need accountability and it should be defined.
