As per the source, it was a matter of 1:40 pm on Saturday afternoon, March 25, 2023. The hiker fell from a height of 30 meters while hiking Mount Beerwah. Reports also stated that the victim was with her friend when she plummet from Mt Beerwah to death. The news of the hiker’s death from plumbing 30 meters came after a paraglider blew into a cliff. According to a spokesperson for Queensland Ambulance Service, the paraglider was jumping from the Organ Pipes path but he, unfortunately, was knocked into the side of the cliff. The spokesperson further added, “it appears he’s launched and was blown back by the wind and hit the mountain” The paraglider who was involved in the accident is in his 50s and he is currently with severe injuries in his chest, head, and spine. He also broke his legs in the accident. The victim was rescued and rushed to Royal Brisbane Hospital through an air ambulance. He was in critical condition when admitted to the hospital.
