Rizk also presented several pieces of evidence for this on his blog, suggesting that the fugitive diamond merchant failed to escape from Antigua to Cuba and then staged a kidnapping. Choksi wanted to flee Antigua to Cuba to avoid extradition, as there is no extradition treaty between Cuba and India.
