In the viral pictures, a 22-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were allegedly filmed while in the mid of an indecent act. Some pictures of the couple being escorted out of a police truck in remand clothing and handcuffs also have gone viral on the internet. Thus, MUDA said it was disturbed by the pictures of a 17-year-old girl and a 22-year-old boy. Dobby Chew who is the director of the MUDA Human Rights Bureau requested the public to stop forwarding and spreading the images of the couple. Additionally, Dobby Chew said MCMC (Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission) must intervene and take down the photos immediately as they may involve explicit images involving a minor. Dobby also asserted that the Inspector General of Police and Home Affairs Minister must respond to the conduct of the police force in the arrest, publicity of the case, and detention of the couple.
