It is suspected that after feeding the children some poisonous substance, the couple consumed it themselves. All four have died. The incident is in Keshab Nagar Colony, Mundhawar.

According to the police, the incident was reported by the neighbors. Four people are reported to have died in one house. When the police reached here after receiving this information, all the four people were lying unconscious inside the house. When he was rushed to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead. The deceased have been identified as 50-year-old Deepak Thote and his wife Indu, 24-year-old son Rushikesh and 17-year-old daughter Sammy. According to the police, the medical board is conducting an autopsy to find out the actual cause of the incident. Further action will be taken to investigate the case after receiving the post-mortem report.

Police are considering suicide

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Bajrang Desai, the circumstances surrounding the death of the couple and their son and daughter are still unclear. But from the inspection of the spot, it is believed to be a suicide incident. It is suspected that the couple first gave some poison to the son and daughter and then consumed it themselves. The police is investigating the matter in its own way. A case has also been filed in Mundwa police station in this regard.
