According to the weather report, Himachal Pradesh may experience more snowfall in the coming days. The temperature is expected to drop to -5°C on Saturday and -6°C on Sunday. Not only this, the wind speed will also increase and the wind speed may reach 8 km per hour for the next two days.
Tourist center covered in white sheet of snow
According to media reports, Kulli Kothi received 15 cm of snow on Thursday. On the other hand, Hansa recorded 10 cm, Gondla 5.7 cm, Kusumseri 6.6 cm and Kelong 3.5 cm. Khadrala and Shilaro received 5 cm and 0.2 cm of snow respectively. However, among tourist centres, Manali recorded 17 mm, Tissa 12 mm, Tinder 9 mm, Wangtu, Rekongpuy and Shibbagh 8 mm, Khadrala 5 mm and Varmaur 4 mm.

Cold wave likely in Himachal this week
The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate snowfall at isolated places in the higher hills and light rain or snow at a few places in the central hills on Friday. Weather here will be dry from Saturday to Wednesday. Cold flow and fog are likely over lower hills of Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Kangra, Solan, Sirmaur and Mandi districts from Saturday to Monday. The state government has arranged for any kind of snowfall and the capital is divided into five sectors. The nodal officers have been directed to hold meetings with officials of the concerned departments to plan for the post-snow situation.
